New Haven becomes a major and prospecting small industrial city, known for its manufacturing and traveling trades, as well as being a landing pad for forgien imports and exports; at this point in time (though not dated exactly) the Mittio family would immigrate to the (formerly known) United States, cementing them as one of the oldest family names within the city.

As the Great Depression hits (circa 1924), the small and formerly peaceful town of New Haven would descend with higher crime rates, thanks to the mass poverty and homeless rates coming from the economic crash of the mid to late 20s.

With the advancements of “The Information Age”, New Haven’s economy would shift towards modern advancements, including the encroaching of the market of improved communications— The city would be one of the first to both invest and innovate transatlantic communications, as well as begin innovation towards early electronic computing.

In-fighting within the Mittio clan would lead to the fracturing in their small community, with a splinter faction of the Sicilians becoming the first traces of the crime syndicate that has such a strong hold on the city today; at this point, another family (The Kuznetsovs) would also begin dipping their toes in the criminal underground. The two crime syndicates would strike up a peace treaty upon their formulation, which kept the two parties in good graces of each other [1950s-1960s].
